Operations
The layout has been designed for operations. I got the operations bug by operating Michel Boucher's Delaware and Hudson Adirondack Branch layout. The car card system I am developing with four sided way bills is based on what I have learned operating Michel's layout.
I belong to the Operations SIG (Special Interest Group) and am enjoying learning from them through their quarterly magazine and at NMRA conventions.

At the moment I have only operated my railroad on my own and once or twice for short times with Robert Peck. Many changes have been made to make the railroad operable.
